What is "TSDA"?
TSDA is the acronym meaning Texas State Dance Association.
What is the
TSDA is a non-profit association comprised of West Coast Swing Dance clubs from all over the state of Texas that come together to enjoy, promote and preserve the dance we call West Coast Swing. Each year a different club in the association hosts an annual contest in their hometown with all the clubs participating.
Who can compete in the TSDA events? Remember, as long as you are a member in good standing of a club that belongs to the TSDA association you can compete. Example: You live in

Since all the clubs in the association pay a fee to the host club and the clubs themselves are non-profit entities, we are able to provide the dance community with a low cost weekend of social and competition dancing.
To be eligible to dance in a TSDA sponsored event you must be an active member of one of the participating clubs. The reason for this rule is to help the local clubs with membership participation to support themselves and the event.

This year's event is being hosted by the Texas Classic Push Club located in the
Social dancer, not a competitor? No problem. There will be workshops all weekend by some of the top dance pro's. We will offer lots of social dance time plus late night dancing for the hardy.
