2006 TSDA State Contest Information
The State Contest was held October 27, 28 & 29 in Dallas
The Texas State Dance Association is an organization of non-profit swing dance clubs from all around Texas. Its purpose is to preserve and promote the swing dance style and its regional variations through an annual dance convention and state championship competition.
The 2006 TSDA Board meeting was held in Dallas on August 6th, to review the TSDA Articles (Rules) in preparation for the October 2006 contest. Please note that for this year the Pro/Am competition rules have been significantly revised. They conform to the common Contest Rules and Judging Guidelines (Appendices) from the March, 2006 SWRDA SW Regional meeting. Review Appendix A, Contest Rules, and Appendix B, Judging Guidelines, of the Articles for complete rules and judging details.
