The Southwest Regional Dance Association is an organization of non-profit swing dance clubs in the Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas area. Its purpose is to preserve and promote the swing dance style and its regional variations through an annual dance convention and competition.

The 2008 SWRDA contest will be held on May 23 thru 25, 2008. The event will be at the Grand Hyatt Hotel at terminal "D" in the DFW airport in Dallas, Texas.

The Articles were completely reformatted in 2004. The Articles proper now include only SWRDA organizational information. All Contest Rules are now contained in Appendix A. Judging Rules and Guidelines are in Appendix B. Tally Room and Scoring information are in Appendices C & D. These changes were designed to make the document much easier for all of us to use and understand.
